Facebook rollback changes in data use.

If Facebook were a country it would be the 7th nation because its population about 175 million of users, however, today Mark Zurckerberg (its creator) withdraw changes in data use After dozens of protest from its users.

Today Wed 18th, 2009 Facebook posted its resolution:“Over the past few days, we have received a lot of feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised.”

The posting invited users to click on a link to get more details.

Mr. Zuckerberg added that Facebook’s next revision of terms would reflect “a new approach” and would be “a substantial revision from where we are now.”

He promised Facebook users “a lot of input in crafting these terms.”

Currently Facebook is the leader on Social networking, hope this madness don't end it up. Remember that there are more networks out there (MySpace, Hi5...) that would be glad
to receive former facebook users.

Personally Facebook has been performing a pretty interesting marketign strategy, not limited by advertising, the opened develpment program for plug-ins or applications has boosted the application with any effort by them, I guess Mark thought no that much people would see the new terms.

Can you imagine what you could do with tons of information of the people you know?.

Marketing, business, harrasment, kidnapping, and so on ... dangerous but amazing.
